We had the pleasure of working with Eve when she designed and maintained a website for the Colorado Trail Run (CTR)-- a record attempt on the Colorado Tail undertaken as a fundraiser for the Colorado Trail Foundation. The design for the website was essential to the success of our fundraising project. It enabled us to attract and promote prominent sponsors including Wild Oats, Saucony, Land Rover of Boulder and Patagonia. It also allowed us to fully document the effort, to verify the course record and to heighten awareness of the Colorado Trail and the CTR.

The success of the CTR website relied heavily on Eve's ability to provide timely, accurate updates regarding new sponsors, fundraising activities and accounts for the run in progress. In addition to making use of the suggestions of others in developing the site, Eve made many of her own recommendations which dramatically improved the usablity, readability, aesthetic appeal and effectiveness of the site.

An indication of the effectiveness of the website is the fact that when it was linked to the main Colorado Trail website it served to triple the number of hits on the parent site. The CTR webmaster credited Eve's efforts for this increase.
